I've finished constructing the cap! The entire process can be found in this series of entries, with photos of the finished cap here.

As of yesterday morning, I still found the weaving part of the interlaced insertion stitch pretty terrifying, but ( I think I've worked it out! )

A while ago, I'd made inquiries as to how others had succeeded at interlaced insertion stitch, and I've gotten up the motivation to start the project in question. It's actually ( going rather well. )

The honeycomb stitch for the band around the cap is also ( rather pretty. )
